Key Responsibilities

  • Data Acquisition & Enrichment: Identify, source, and ingest new data sets from internal and external partners to expand arenaflex’s analytical capabilities.
  • Data Quality Management: Conduct rigorous data validation, cleansing, and profiling to maintain high standards of data integrity, security, and freshness.
  • Analytical Support: Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and risk strategists to translate raw data into actionable business insights and model enhancements.
  • Risk Model Enhancement: Contribute to the development and refinement of credit and fraud risk models by providing high‑quality data and analytical support across the customer lifecycle (onboarding, underwriting, authorization, and collections).
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams in Compliance, Product Management, Fraud Strategy, and Decision Science to align data initiatives with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
  • Third‑Party Lifecycle Management: Support the governance of third‑party data providers, ensuring adherence to arenaflex’s Third Party Lifecycle Management program.
  • Consultative Advisory: Offer expert guidance on data‑driven solutions in a fast‑paced, global environment, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate data pipelines, streamline processes, and enhance the overall efficiency of the Enterprise Data Strategy function.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Python, SQL, and Spark; familiarity with SAS and large‑scale data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
  • Data Analytics Experience: Demonstrated ability to perform data analysis, statistical modeling, and metric reporting in a high‑volume environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in a financial services organization, preferably within credit risk, fraud risk, or related data functions.
