Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ScoutLab.io is a privately held Mediation Software Platform focused on dispute resolution and case practice management. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to expand market reach through strategic sales initiatives targeting various sectors, including government and corporate entities.

Responsibilities

  • Research and Identify Opportunities
  • Outbound Prospecting and Pipeline Generation
  • Lead Qualification and Discovery
  • Event Support and Lead Follow-Up
  • Partner and Channel Development
  • CRM Management and Activity Tracking
  • Sales and Marketing Alignment
  • Meeting and Opportunity Creation
  • Other Duties as Assigned by Senior Management

Skills

  • 1+ year of experience as an SDR/BDR
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude when faced with adversity
  • Time management skills, and the ability to work well with a team
  • Experience with a robust tech stack is mandatory (HubSpot, Outreach, Zoom, Salesforce, etc.)
  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, inside sales, customer-facing roles, or related experience
  • Strong prospecting, research, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable making outbound calls, sending emails, and engaging prospects through LinkedIn and other channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport and establish credibility with professionals at all levels
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and driven to achieve and exceed goals
  • Experience using CRM platforms and sales engagement tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to thrive in a remote work environment while maintaining high levels of productivity and accountability
  • Candidates with LegalTech experience move to the top of the list
  • SaaS, LegalTech, professional services, or technology sales experience
  • Interest in LegalTech, dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration, or related industries
