[Remote] Senior Analyst, Portfolio Strategy (Lending)

As a Senior Analyst in Portfolio Strategy, you will provide valuable insights to drive business growth, design and track pricing and credit strategies, and collaborate with various departments to understand emerging trends and business performance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior team members to assess and manage portfolio risk, ensuring alignment with organizational risk tolerance
- Provide reporting and analysis of pricing and profitability to senior management on the portfolio and pricing initiatives
- Assess potential impacts of new strategies on the current portfolio
- Continually monitor the performance data models and offer recommendations on policy changes related to data models
- Engage in exploratory initiatives to identify and develop new business strategies
- Work closely with senior team members to implement and execute strategic initiatives
- Identify and assess new data sources to help bolster the company’s underwriting and analytics’ capabilities
Skills
- Intellectual curiosity and strong quantitative skills
- 5+ years of experience in an analytically driven role (finance, analytics, consulting, etc.)
- Self-starter with drive to outperform and attention to detail
- Ability to build long-lasting relationships with key contacts at all levels of the organization
- Proficient skills in Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python
- Knowledge/skills in analytical and modeling techniques such as Decision Tree, regression, AB testing
- Familiarity with risk and pricing strategies preferred
- Preferred: consumer or small business credit and pricing experience
