[Remote] Remote Customer Service Representative – Full-Time or Part-Time

TeamHealth is a leading provider in the healthcare industry, seeking motivated individuals to join their National Patient Service Center as Customer Service Representatives. This role involves assisting patients with billing and insurance inquiries, ensuring a compassionate and professional service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by phone, assisting patients with billing and insurance questions
  • Research and resolve patient account issues
  • Update insurance information and rebill claims as necessary
  • Generate and send itemized statements or courtesy claims
  • Set up and manage patient payment plans
  • Accurately document all patient interactions
  • Maintain professionalism and empathy in all communications
  • Perform other related administrative duties as assigned

Skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • Ability to multitask: listen, speak, and type simultaneously
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Windows and computer-based systems
  • Previous customer service, call center, retail, or hospitality experience is a plus

  • Training hours: 8 AM to 5 PM EST, Monday through Friday
