They are seeking a detail-driven Payroll Administrator to manage high-volume payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple entities.

Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume weekly payrolls across multiple entities and pay groups with speed and accuracy
  • Reconcile payroll data, taxes, deductions, and adjustments across Paylocity, and proprietary systems
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations to identify and resolve discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency
  • Develop and maintain audit-ready reports and documentation to support compliance, audits, and tax filings
  • Leverage advanced Excel skills to analyze, validate, and reconcile large datasets, ensuring data integrity and payroll accuracy

Skills

  • 3–5 years of payroll experience in a high-volume, multi-state environment
  • Hands-on expertise with Paylocity; or similar systems ADP workforce now, Paycom, Paycor experience with additional proprietary systems preferred
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, nested formulas, data validation, reconciliation)
  • Deep understanding of wage and hour laws, payroll compliance, and best practices
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to confidentiality and precision
