You will translate complex, heterogeneous data sets into clear, evidence‑based narratives that inform strategic decisions across the healthcare continuum. This is a remote, full‑time position offering a competitive hourly rate of $20‑$30, ideal for professionals who thrive in a collaborative, innovative environment while enjoying the flexibility of a virtual workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, cleanse, and normalize raw data collections from internal databases and external sources to create analysis‑ready patient cohorts.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including clinical research scientists, biopharma partners, and data engineers—to translate real‑world data into meaningful insights for RWE studies.
  • Design and execute robust statistical analyses addressing critical business questions such as treatment effectiveness, safety profiles, and cost‑effectiveness across disease states.
  • Maintain and enhance a structured data lake, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility for downstream analytics.
  • Perform advanced data mining and quantitative analysis to uncover novel patterns in patient populations and therapeutic outcomes.
  • Develop and validate analytical pipelines using cutting‑edge research methods and tools, supporting the continuous improvement of arenaflex’s data capabilities.
  • Partner with project teams to plan, design, and implement outcome research studies, ensuring alignment with regulatory and scientific standards.
  • Deliver high‑quality, timely deliverables—including dashboards, visualizations, and comprehensive reports—for both internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Conduct rigorous data quality assessments of new real‑world data sources, providing recommendations for data acquisition and integration strategies.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in real‑world evidence, health economics, and data science to drive innovation within arenaflex.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field).
  • Experience: Proven track record of designing and executing reproducible quantitative analyses in epidemiology, health services research, or related domains.
  • Statistical Expertise: Proficiency with statistical methods such as regression modeling, propensity score matching, survival analysis, and longitudinal data analysis.
  • Data Management: Hands‑on experience handling large, multi‑source datasets, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Privacy & Security: Demonstrated ability to work with protected health information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Tool Proficiency: Competence in at least one of the following BI/analytics platforms: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or comparable tools.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, health‑IT platforms, disease registries, and claims data.
  • Familiarity with clinical terminologies and ontologies such as ICD‑9/10, SNOMED CT, LOINC, and Read Codes.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR) for real‑world evidence studies.
  • Hands‑on experience with data extraction from cloud‑based platforms and data‑lake architectures.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SAS, or SQL for data manipulation and statistical modeling.
  • Experience with Bayesian modeling, machine learning, and AI techniques applied to health data.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical audiences.
