About the Role

As a Remote Data Entry Associate – Healthcare Contract Operations Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of healthcare provider contract data. Your primary responsibility will be to research, validate, scrub, and enter data related to provider contracts into client systems. You will serve as a key point of accuracy in our operations pipeline, ensuring that every record is complete, correct, and properly loaded into the appropriate databases.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys behind-the-scenes work that has a direct impact on customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and operational success. You will be working closely with internal team members and occasionally communicating with clients via email to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies. Every task you complete contributes to arenaflex’s reputation for excellence and our ability to meet or exceed client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Scrubbing and Validation: Review existing provider contract records to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, or missing data before entry into client systems.
  • Research and Investigation: Conduct thorough research using web-based tools, internal databases, and provided documentation to verify healthcare provider information and contract details.
  • Contract Installation: Accurately load healthcare provider contracts into client systems, ensuring all required fields are populated and all data matches source documentation.
  • Status Updates: Maintain accurate and current status information within customer tracking systems to reflect the progress of each contract through the workflow.
  • Data Entry from Multiple Sources: Retrieve and input data from computer-based systems, web portals, physical and digital files, and other documents as required.
  • Analysis and Discrepancy Identification: Examine collected information to flag potential problems, anomalies, or inconsistencies that may require further review or escalation.
  • SLA Compliance: Complete transactions accurately and within designated timelines to meet or exceed client expectations and service level agreements.
  • Healthcare and Insurance Domain Application: Apply foundational knowledge of healthcare and insurance concepts, terminology, and processes to support problem-solving and decision-making in day-to-day tasks.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and address routine and non-routine issues independently, escalating more complex matters to senior team members when appropriate.
  • Email Monitoring and Response: Monitor a shared email inbox, respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner, and route messages to the correct parties when necessary.

  • Computer Proficiency: At least one (1) year of experience using a Windows-based computer, including the ability to navigate multiple screens and systems simultaneously, use a keyboard efficiently, and learn new software tools quickly.
  • Educational Background: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

While not required, the following skills and experiences will help you stand out as an applicant:

  • Professional Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally in an office or client-facing setting.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to leverage research, analytical thinking, and creative problem-solving to resolve issues effectively.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
