Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Customer Service Representative is the frontline advocate for our members. In this fully remote role, you will guide members through their benefits, clarify claims, and connect them with online resources that support their mental and emotional well‑being. Your empathy, attention to detail, and knowledge of arenaflex policies will help members navigate complex health plans with confidence.

Role Overview

  • Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 11:45 AM – 8:15 PM EST
  • Location: 100 % remote – work from anywhere in the United States

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide members through their plan of benefits, explaining arenaflex policy details, coverage limits, and procedural steps.
  • Build authentic emotional connections by actively listening, showing empathy, and championing each member’s health goals.
  • Take ownership of each interaction, ensuring a thorough understanding of the member’s needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Anticipate and proactively address potential concerns, offering preventive guidance before issues arise.
  • Review member claim histories to verify benefit maximums, coinsurance, and deductible balances, ensuring accurate tracking.
  • Maintain and update financial data related to member accounts, guaranteeing compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Educate members on their rights and responsibilities, clearly outlining contract terms and how they impact care.
  • Utilize arenaflex’s digital tools and online resources to empower members with self‑service options and educational content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—claims, underwriting, and clinical specialists—to resolve complex inquiries swiftly.
  • Document all interactions in the CRM system with precision, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of customer service experience in a call‑center environment, demonstrating consistent high‑quality service delivery.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex information clearly and compassionately.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a track record of resolving issues efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on active listening.
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
