[Remote] Sales Development Representative (SDR)

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be the first point of contact with potential customers, responsible for generating new business opportunities and nurturing leads to support the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social media to identify and engage potential customers Qualify inbound leads and determine their readiness to move through the sales process Research target accounts and industries to develop tailored and creative outreach strategies Use YouGov data and insights to tell compelling stories that resonate with prospects Set appointments for our sales team, ensuring seamless handoffs for continued engagement Maintain accurate records in Salesforce to track outreach efforts, lead status, and sales activity Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and share feedback to strengthen lead generation efforts Skills 1–2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles (entry-level candidates with relevant internships also considered) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects clearly and confidently Strong time management and organizational skills—you can balance high activity while staying detail-oriented Creative problem-solving skills to design outreach that stands out Comfort using data and insights for persuasive storytelling A proactive, self-motivated approach with eagerness to grow in a sales career Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Benefits Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation and additional benefits.
