Remote CAD Drafting Assistant – Freelance Projects

Job Summary HR Service Jobs is seeking a highly detail-oriented and skilled Remote CAD Drafting Assistant to support freelance architectural, engineering, and product design projects. This is a remote, project-based position ideal for individuals with a passion for technical drawing and proficiency in CAD software. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to create precise technical drawings, blueprints, and 2D/3D models from conceptual sketches and design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• * Interpret project sketches, engineering notes, and design specifications into accurate CAD drawings.
• * Create and revise technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
• * Ensure compliance with relevant standards and project guidelines.
• * Assist in converting 2D drawings to 3D models where required.
• * Maintain drawing accuracy, version control, and proper documentation of all changes.
• * Collaborate remotely with team members, providing timely updates and receiving feedback.
• * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to design discrepancies.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• * Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and/or 3D); knowledge of other CAD tools like Revit, SolidWorks, or SketchUp is a plus.
• * Strong understanding of architectural or engineering drafting practices.
• * Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex design documents.
• * Familiarity with building codes, material specifications, or mechanical/electrical systems (depending on project type).

• * 1–3 years of experience in CAD drafting or a related field.
