Medical Eligibility Billing and Denial Specialist-Remote
PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BEFORE APPLYING :: THIS IS NOT A PART-TIME POSITION Requirements: Must have extensive experience in medical insurance eligibility. Hiring for eligibility team members focused on resolving plan-related issues. Candidates should have strong eligibility experience, including the ability to identify plans by ID and understand common nuances involved in troubleshooting and resolving eligibility errors. Day to day responsibilities consist of using multiple systems simultaneously to assemble and coordinate reimbursement claims for our clients. The Prior Authorization Specialist will interact with insurance companies to ensure accurate, streamlined billing and payments are made. You will be required to use online portals for insurances and working within the client's billing system. Requirements:
- Work full time, 40 hours weekly. This is not a part-time position.
- Must have a Windows-based personal computer (NO Chromebooks) capable of running multiple systems and software programs, high speed internet (speed test is required), and use of personal phone.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience
- Attention to detail and accuracy is vital to being successful in this position
- Excellent, professional verbal, written, and social communication is a must
- Previous experience working with an electronic medical system required
- Attendance and participation in online team meetings are required as well as company Q&A forums
- Employees must meet daily quality and productivity quotas. These will be checked weekly as well as your contribution and overall impact on the project.
- Maintaining accurate time tracking and reporting
- Must know how to read an EOB and follow up on denials & appeals
- Must be available Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to navigate personal and remote desktop simultaneous
- Attention to detail and accuracy is vital to being successful in this position
- Multiple positions with several clients starting pay of $17.50 per hour
- Must be able to complete mandatory on-boarding training. Training will be completed online via training videos and live meetings.
- High Speed Internet Required, Internet Speed Check required after initial interview.
A full 40 work week must be completed. Position starts IMMEDIATELY. This is a contract position paid on a 1099. Work term is based on client contract term.
