Our client, a prominent logistics and supply chain solutions provider, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Fleet Logistics Coordinator. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage critical transportation operations from the comfort of your home office. You will be responsible for optimizing fleet performance, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining efficient communication channels across our network. The core responsibilities include coordinating daily dispatch operations, assigning routes to drivers, and monitoring vehicle locations and progress using advanced telematics systems. You will manage driver schedules, ensure compliance with transportation regulations, and address any logistical challenges or delays promptly. This role requires a keen understanding of transportation management systems (TMS) and route optimization software. You will serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing real-time updates and resolving issues effectively. You will analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement, such as reducing fuel consumption and minimizing downtime. Collaboration with maintenance teams to schedule vehicle servicing and repairs is also part of this role. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional problem-solving skills, the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Requirements include a minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation management, or fleet operations. Proven experience with TMS software and GPS tracking systems is essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are vital for building strong relationships with drivers and clients. Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail are required to manage complex schedules and documentation. A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience will be considered. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for optimizing transportation networks and thrive in a remote work environment, we encourage you to apply.
