We're looking for a talented Manager, Social Media Strategy & Activation to join our team and help drive our social media initiatives forward. Job Summary As a Manager, Social Media Strategy & Activation, you will play a critical role in leading our paid social media strategy and activation efforts across multiple platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, YouTube, and LinkedIn. You will be responsible for managing a team of social media professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and success. Your expertise in social media advertising, analytics, and technical setup will be essential in driving our social media initiatives forward and ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead paid social media strategy for Walt Disney World and drive this forward, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Lead and support a team of social media professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to ensure their growth and success.
  • Influence the organization to adopt optimal campaign and ad setup, including best practices and evolving innovation.
  • Continue to grow and evolve our in-house teams and responsibilities, with an eye toward efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Own and manage our social media activation platform suite, including future partnership additions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and design tools to improve efficiency and workflow.
  • Partner with media partners, agencies, and internal teams to improve overall technical setup and inter-departmental workflow.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • 10+ years of digital marketing experience, with a focus on ecommerce and social media.
  • Extensive experience with social media platforms and related tools, including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong understanding of online and offline data, including its use in digital and social spaces.
  • Advanced analytics and measurement skills, with the ability to coach team members on advanced analysis and testing.
  • Familiarity with work management platforms such as Workfront, JIRA, Smartsheets, etc.
  • Comfort with high levels of autonomy and the ability to distill technical details into understandable terms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Business, Social Media, Analytics, or Statistics.
  • Experience with social media advertising, including campaign setup, optimization, and measurement.
  • Knowledge of technical setup and changes happening across the ecosystem, including iOS 14.5 and app-related changes.
  • Experience with Conversions API and other solutions to support digital marketing privacy future-proofing efforts.
