Experienced Virtual Medical Scribe – Training Provided – Remote Work Opportunity (WFH)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Virtual Medical Scribe to join our team, providing high-quality documentation services to medical providers. As a Virtual Medical Scribe, you will work from the comfort of your own home, partnering with a medical provider to document patient visits in real-time. Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual Medical Scribe, your key responsibilities will include:

• Documenting physician-patient encounters in real-time, utilizing EHR/EMR programs like Epic, bolthires, Cerner, etc.
• Actively listening to live conversations between physicians and patients, communicating and verifying patient information with physicians.
• Utilizing strong computer and typing skills to ensure accurate and efficient documentation.
• Providing high-quality documentation services to medical providers, reducing physician burnout and turnover, and improving accuracy of clinical documentation.
• Working collaboratively with medical providers to ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient visits.

Requirements

To be successful as a Virtual Medical Scribe, you will need:

• A working knowledge of medical terms through recent clinical experience as a medical assistant, medical transcriptionist, etc., or college-level courses in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Successful completion of AQuity's scribe training program.
• Strong computer and typing skills, with the ability to pass a typing test.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to hear and understand all information provided by patients or healthcare providers in a remote environment and transcribe into clear written records.
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to understand diverse accents and dialects of physicians, their staff, and patients.
• Bilingual scribes needed (Spanish). (Not required.)
• Availability to work full, uninterrupted 8-to-10 hour shifts during normal business hours at least 3 days per week (Monday through Friday, 7am to 7pm).
• 18 years of age or older.
• Currently live and authorized to work in the borders of the United States.
• HIPAA compliant and noise-free workspace.
• Secure, high-speed internet connection. (Satellite internet not acceptable.)
• Personal computer compatible with bolthires programs used for training. (Company equipment is provided after training.) Benefits and Compensation As a Virtual Medical Scribe with AQuity Solutions, you will enjoy:
