Key Responsibilities
Utilize solid experience in medical billing and accounts receivable to ensure accurate and timely processing of claims. Demonstrate expertise in retina and/or ophthalmology, contributing to the seamless operation of our healthcare billing processes. Effectively interpret payer contracts, Remittance Advices (RA), and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Display proficiency in handling Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Third Party Payer interactions, managing communication through phone follow-up and letter correspondence. Navigate the appeals and denial resolution process with finesse, working diligently to achieve favorable outcomes.
Qualifications
Proven experience in medical billing and accounts receivable. Specialized knowledge in retina and/or ophthalmology. Ability to comprehend and interpret payer contracts, Remittance Advices (RA), and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements. Previous experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Third Party Payer interactions, including phone follow-up and letter correspondence. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
