Role Overview Step to Freedom Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in Springfield, Massachusetts. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals in an outpatient office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to assess and address clients' mental health needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing severe emotional distress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Experience with telehealth and remote counseling platforms is preferred.
