Position Overview

The Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex is responsible for taking full ownership of customer concerns, complaints, inquiries, and orders. Every decision made and every action taken is guided by a commitment to customer satisfaction. As a part-time team member with variable hours, you will be scheduled across mornings, mid-days, and evenings, including weekends and holidays. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing high-volume inbound calls: Handling a steady flow of incoming calls from customers placing restaurant orders, mail orders, or seeking information about catering services and menu options.
  • Following provided communication scripts: Using established call guides and scripts to ensure consistent, professional, and brand-aligned responses across different topics and customer scenarios.
  • Identifying customer needs: Actively listening to each caller, asking the right questions, and conducting necessary research to fully understand and address the customer's specific situation.
  • Providing solutions and alternatives: Resolving issues on the first call whenever possible, and offering thoughtful alternatives when the initial request cannot be fulfilled exactly as asked.
  • Seizing upsell opportunities: Recognizing natural moments during customer interactions to suggest additional products, add-ons, or premium offerings that enhance the customer experience while supporting business growth.
  • Building sustainable customer relationships: Going beyond transactional service to create genuine connections that encourage customer loyalty and repeat business.
  • Taking restaurant and mail orders: Accurately processing phone-based restaurant orders as well as mail order requests with attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Entering orders into the appropriate systems: Ringing restaurant orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system and inputting mail orders into the dedicated mail order system with precision and care.
  • Handling customer concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism: Treating every issue as an opportunity to demonstrate arenaflex's commitment to service excellence.
  • Providing helpful, accurate answers: Responding to questions about catering options, restaurant menus, hours, policies, and general inquiries with confidence and clarity.

Essential Qualifications
