Getzner is an innovative company focused on engineering a quiet future, and they are seeking a Key Account Manager to drive revenue growth and market positioning for their railway solutions in the Eastern U.S. and Canada. The role involves managing key accounts, executing sales strategies, and collaborating with various teams to develop proposals and maintain market insights.

Responsibilities

  • Execute regional sales strategy and business plans
  • Identify and develop railway infrastructure opportunities (passenger and freight)
  • Build and maintain a qualified project pipeline
  • Drive conversion from specification to tender to order
  • Influence specifications in early project phases (concept, design)
  • Develop technical and commercial proposals with internal team
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing
  • Maintain CRM data, forecasts, and pipeline accuracy
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing and Operations

Skills

  • 7–10+ years experience in B2B technical sales (railway, infrastructure, or engineered solutions)
  • Experience in specification-driven sales and long sales cycles
  • Strong commercial mindset and strategic thinking
  • Ability to engage with engineers and technical stakeholders
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • High level of ownership and self-management
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%)
  • Fluent English
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
