Remote Trucking Dispatch Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly efficient Remote Trucking Dispatch Manager to lead their dispatch operations from a remote location. Responsibilities: Oversee all daily trucking dispatch operations to ensure efficient and timely deliveries. Develop and optimize routes and schedules to maximize asset utilization and minimize transit times. Assign loads to drivers based on location, availability, and qualifications. Monitor driver performance, adherence to schedules, and compliance with regulations. Effectively manage driver communication, addressing any concerns or issues promptly. Utilize dispatch software and GPS tracking systems to manage the fleet in real-time. Ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies. Collaborate with sales, customer service, and operations teams to meet client needs. Manage emergency situations and troubleshoot unforeseen logistical challenges. Maintain accurate dispatch records and generate performance reports. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in trucking dispatch or logistics management. Proven experience in managing dispatch operations and leading a dispatch team. In-depth knowledge of the trucking industry, freight hauling, and logistics software. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols. Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with drivers and stakeholders. Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and GPS tracking platforms. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision. Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
