Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Paralegal specializing in Employment-Based Immigration to join our dynamic legal team. In this pivotal role, you will support complex immigration processes, manage case files, and collaborate closely with attorneys to ensure seamless case progression. Your expertise will help facilitate efficient visa applications, compliance, and client communication, contributing directly to the success of our immigration practice.   • Assist attorneys with preparing and filing employment-based immigration petitions, including H-1B, L-1, E-2, PERM, EB-1A, and NIW visa applications
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategies
  • Manage and organize case files utilizing document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw for efficient retrieval and review
  • Draft legal documents including petitions, cover letters, affidavits, and supporting correspondence with precision and clarity
  • Review and analyze client documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with immigration regulations
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with clients and government agencies; prepare clients for interviews by providing detailed guidance
  • Maintain meticulous records of case progress, deadlines, and correspondence to ensure timely submissions and compliance with legal standards
  • Support administrative functions such as data entry, filing, document review, proofreading, transcription, and maintaining legal administrative records
  • Collaborate with team members on project management tasks related to immigration cases and ensure all documentation aligns with current laws and regulations
  • Provide exceptional client service by answering inquiries professionally via phone or email while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as an Employment-Based Immigration paralegal.
  • Strong knowledge of employment-based immigration processes including visa categories like H-1B, L-1, PERM labor certification procedures
  • Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with UCC law, Tribal law & regulations is a plus
  • Proficiency in legal case management software including iManage and PCLaw; experience with document review and management systems is essential
  • Excellent drafting skills for legal documents; ability to proofread meticulously and perform transcription accurately
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Effective interviewing skills for client intake sessions; capable of gathering detailed information accurately
  • Knowledge of project management principles applied within a law office setting; ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong clerical experience including filing, data entry, document management systems operation, and general administrative support
  • Exceptional communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette; committed to providing outstanding client service

We have an amazing team of 9 lawyers and 20+ paralegals, all doing employment-based immigration, many of whom have been here for 10+ years, and lots of newer paralegals who come and never leave. Great camaraderie; great teamwork; excellent place to work, whether in person or remote. Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits:
