As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing and updating logistics information, resolving vendor or local delivery challenges, and engaging in open communication with vendors to address issues and modify delivery schedules as needed. Key Responsibilities
- Diligently manage and update logistics information for assigned vendors, guaranteeing precision and timeliness, and ensuring that all data entry tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Proactively identify and resolve vendor or local delivery challenges to uphold seamless operations, and develop creative solutions to complex problems.
- Engage in open communication with vendors to address issues and modify delivery schedules as needed, and foster strong relationships with vendors to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- When necessary, escalate complex matters to supervisors for prompt resolution, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to rectify any inaccuracies in merchant data.
- Gather and align item-level data supplied by merchants with internal item identifiers and descriptions, and ensure that all data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company standards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, and contribute to the development of our supply chain management strategies.
Essential Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics coordination, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in managing logistics operations and vendor relations.
- Strong analytical skills, with the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate within a team environment, and strong problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, with a strong understanding of logistics operations, vendor management, and supply chain management principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with logistics software and systems, including transportation management systems, warehouse management systems, and supply chain management software.
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools, including Excel, SQL, and data visualization software.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management.
- Strong understanding of industry trends and developments, including the impact of technology on logistics and supply chain management.
