What You'll Do

  • Build and grow a book of carriers through cold calling, outreach, and relationship development — this is the job
  • Source and book freight via DAT, Truckstop, and direct broker relationships across all modes
  • Negotiate rates hard — every load margin matters
  • Monitor carrier compliance: insurance expirations, carrier packets, broker requirements
  • Handle documentation end-to-end: rate cons, BOLs, check calls, PODs
  • Log everything through the CLD9 platform — built for dispatchers, not against them

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of trucking dispatching or freight logistics experience — required
  • Fluent in DAT and Truckstop — not learning them, using them
  • Can negotiate a rate without flinching
  • Understands compliance and why it's the difference between a carrier that runs and one that gets shut down
  • Self-managed, hungry, and doesn't need hand-holding
  • Reliable home office setup: internet, phone, computer

Compensation — Read This Twice Weekly pay. Every Friday. No net-30, no waiting, no games. CLD9 holds a firm 10% dispatching rate on every load. We deliver white glove service and we price accordingly. That rate doesn't move — which means your commission base never gets negotiated away from under you. Tiered commission — 40% to 50% of every dollar CLD9 earns on your book: — 0–3 carriers: 40% — 4–5 carriers: 45% — 6+ carriers: 50% No ceiling. No cap. A $3,000 load at 10% = $300 in fees. At 50%, that's $150 in your pocket. Per load. Multiply across a full book. $5,000 Loyalty Bonus. Stay 12 months, earn $5,000 cash. Period. Legacy Ladder — your book pays you forever: At Year 3, your book vests and you earn an ownership % on top of your monthly commission for the life of your carriers: — Year 3: +3% — Year 5: +7% — Year 10: +10% This is not a referral bonus.
