Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Internal Auditor – Governance Compliance to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Internal Auditor – Governance Compliance, you will be an integral part of the Compliance Department, supporting governance and regulatory adherence across the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to integrity, which will align successfully within the organization.   • Conduct comprehensive reviews of the compliance system, framework, and governance to ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of compliance controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of audit strategies and plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance standards are maintained and enhanced.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in compliance frameworks and governance within banking or broker-dealer environments in the U.S.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and audit processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
