About The Role As an Entry-Level Data Analyst, you'll utilize your analytical abilities to collect, organize, and analyze data to provide insights that drive decision-making and optimize business performance. You'll be responsible for interpreting data, identifying trends, and generating reports to support various departments within the organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's growth and success while upholding our core values through diligent analysis and strategic recommendations. Some of what you will do: • Collecting and compiling data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external APIs. • Cleaning and preprocessing data to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis. • Performing exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data. • Utilizing statistical methods and data visualization techniques to present findings effectively. • Assisting in the development and implementation of data models and algorithms. • Collaborating with team members to understand data requirements and objectives. • Generating reports and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders. • Supporting ad-hoc analysis and data inquiries from different departments. • Monitoring data quality and integrity to ensure consistency and reliability. • Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and data management. What will help you be successful: • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field. • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Python. • Basic understanding of statistical concepts and techniques. • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. • Prior internship or coursework experience in data analysis or related field is a plus. • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms is desirable but not required. • Understanding of database management systems and data warehousing principles is advantageous.
