We are looking for a talented LOCAL Software Developer with expertise in Android app development to work on a cutting-edge software project. The primary focus of this role will be to code and maintain an Android app for machinists, featuring interactive checklists, remote monitoring, and ERP... integration. Office-Based Role FULL OR PART TIME KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain the Android app using JavaScript and Python. Collaborate with the team to design and implement an interactive checklist for machinists, incorporating features such as feeds and speed calculations. Implement remote monitoring capabilities within the app to allow for real-time oversight of machining processes. Integrate the app with existing ERP systems to streamline workflow and data management. Perform iterative work on the app, ensuring continuous improvement and enhancement. Engage in embedded exterior programming to interface with machine hardware and improve automation processes. Troubleshoot and debug software issues to maintain optimal performance. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company’s software solutions remain cutting-edge. QUALIFICATIONS Strong understanding of Android app development. Experience with embedded programming and integrating software with hardware systems. Familiarity with integration of other software systems. Knowledge of remote monitoring technologies and their implementation. Familiarity with iterative development processes and Agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively. Experience in the manufacturing or machining industry is a plus but not required.
