Job Description:

As an Event Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Event Manager in executing a variety of tasks necessary to ensure the smooth operation of events. This includes setup and breakdown of events, interacting with clients, and coordinating with vendors. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

– Assist in the setup and breakdown of events

– Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests

– Coordinate with vendors and staff to ensure the success of events

– Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events

– Ensure that all event activities comply with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

– Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Ability to work on weekends

Education and Experience:

– High school diploma or equivalent

– Experience in event planning or related field is a plus but not mandatory
