Job Summary:
Amazon is currently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis, focusing on weekend hours. The successful candidate will be expected to work under 4 hours per weekend. Job Description:
As a part-time Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for organizing, editing and updating data in our databases and computer systems. You will maintain the accuracy and confidentiality of information, ensuring all data aligns with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
– Inputting customer and account data from source documents within time limits
– Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
– Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities
– Creating and managing spreadsheets with large numbers of figures
– Using data entry software to record, store and analyze information
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a data entry specialist or similar position
– Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets
– Proficient touch typing skills
– Attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Educational Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Degree in related field would be a plus
Experience:
– Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential, as we will provide paid training.
