Job Summary:
Gold’s Gym, one of the most renowned and respected fitness organizations in the world, is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated part-time fitness instructor to join our team in Richmond, KY. Job Description:
As a fitness instructor, you will be expected to deliver group and personal training sessions, providing instruction on proper exercise techniques, and promoting overall health and wellness among gym members. The ideal candidate should be passionate about fitness, be able to motivate and inspire clients to reach their fitness goals, and uphold the high standards of safety, service, and professionalism that Gold’s Gym is known for.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct group and individual fitness sessions
– Educate clients on correct exercise techniques to reduce injury and improve fitness
– Develop personalized exercise and diet plans for clients
– Ensure the safety of clients during workouts
– Monitor client progress and adjust their exercise plans as needed
– Keep up-to-date with new fitness and health research and trends
Requirements:
– Certification as a personal trainer or fitness instructor is required
– Prior experience in fitness training or coaching is preferred
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Passionate about fitness and helping others achieve their fitness goals
– Comfortable working with clients of all fitness levels and ages
– Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus
Educational Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent is required
– Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, or related field would be an added advantage
– Must hold a valid certification from a recognized fitness organization
Experience:
While experience is not a necessary requirement, candidates with prior experience in fitness training or coaching will be given preference.
