Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a diligent and dedicated Warehouse Packer to join our team at Amazon in Glasgow, KY. Job Description:
As a Warehouse Packer, your main responsibility will be to pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for storing and/or transport. You will be tasked with verifying packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, pric? etc.), and managing packaging materials inventory.
Primary Responsibilities:
– Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
– Use appropriate manual or automated equipment to load and unload freight.
– Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
– Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse.
– Follow safety protocols at all times.
Requirements:
– Physical strength and stamina.
– Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
– Attention to detail and accuracy.
– Willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
– Basic math skills.
– Ability to work in a team.
Educational Qualifications:
– A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
– Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required as training will be provided.
