AWS - Application and Data Analyst (REMOTE FULL TIME)

Summary

Internet2 is seeking an Application and Data Analyst knowledgeable in the use of AWS Cloud technologies to leverage organizational data for the development of business analytics. This position's responsibilities also include the analysis, integration and management of SaaS applications and will require experience in the areas of business process analysis, data management, and system integration to support and enhance Internet2's administrative business capabilities. This position works in a collaborative team environment implementing cross divisional solutions. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • A minimum of 5 years of IT experience. • At least 3 years of development experience with AWS Analytics and Database services (eg, Glue, StepFunctions, EventBridge, QuickSight). • Experience with AWS Databases (eg, Aurora, Redshift). • Proficiency with Data Visualization platforms (preferably QuickSight). • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (eg Python, Java). • Good understanding of AWS Identify and Access management, and AWS Monitoring tools. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong understanding of Data Governance, Ownership, and Stewardship in a multi-divisional organization. • Ability to play a role in driving the culture of data driven decision making and its adoption across the organization. • Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures, and guidelines to support operational and business processes. • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage projects. • Demonstrated ability to document development artifacts including flow diagrams, data models, design specification and user documentation for both technical staff and end users. • Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing via all media options, including video conferencing. Nice To Have • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Data Analytics). • Experience with configuration and support of ERP Systems (preferably Salesforce and NetSuite. • Experience working in a higher education environment is desirable.
