Position Summary: We’re seeking passionate and skilled online tutors to join our online tutoring platform launching in March 2025. If you’re dedicated to helping students succeed, have expertise in your subject area, and can adapt to diverse learning needs, we want you on our team! • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • To complete the Application, please visit gogosedututors.com and complete the survey. Responsibilities: • Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions for students in grades 6-12. • Customize lessons based on each student’s needs, strengths, and learning style. • Track student progress and provide regular feedback. • Communicate effectively with students and, if needed, their parents or guardians via online chat or video sessions. • Maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment. Requirements: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in the subject you wish to tutor or a related field (required). Teaching credentials or advanced degrees are a plus. • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience, preferably with middle or high school students. • Subject Expertise: Proficiency in any of the subject lists; for the full subject list, please refer to the bottom section of this post. • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Adaptability: Ability to tailor your teaching approach to different learning styles and student needs. • Technical Skills: Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools. (Experience with zoom, virtual whiteboards, video conferencing, etc., preferred.) • Reliability: Consistent availability to meet scheduling needs and a strong commitment to student success. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with standardized test prep (e.g., SAT, ACT) is a plus. • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a bonus, especially in languages commonly spoken by our student base. • A proactive, patient, and empathetic teaching approach.
