Job Description

The Claims Inside Property Analyst II is responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for Homeowners Claims. This role determines coverage, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within 0authority. This is a fullly remote opportunity on our Homeowners/Property claims team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Xactimate, Relevant experience with homeowners claims handling & an active asjuster's license. Key Responsibilities • Recognizes and identifies key components of residential construction and repair • Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills • Improves understanding and use of systems and technology used within the company • Determines subrogation or fraud potential and applies learnings on how to handle • Applies understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department • Handles basic investigation regarding most aspects of simple homeowner first party claims (coverage, damages, subrogation) Education • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred) Experience • 0-2 years experience (Preferred) Supervisory Responsibilities • This job does not have supervisory duties. Education & Experience (in lieu) • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $40,000.00 - 57,485.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications. At National General, great things happen when our people work together.
