Banking Core System Implementation Specialist #11798 (Japanese Bilingual Preferred)

Location: Remote or New York City Assignment Period: Starting April 2025, for over one year (details TBD) Responsibilities: • Lead the design of future operational processes for a commercial bank. • Collaborate with business and system teams to understand and implement core banking systems. • Act as a key liaison to ensure seamless communication and understanding between stakeholders. Requirements: • Professional knowledge and experience in one or more core operations of commercial banking, such as payments, loans, trade finance, treasury, or deposits. • Ability to engage in detailed discussions with business stakeholders. • Basic understanding of the functionality and structure of applications used in banking operations. • Foundational knowledge of the architecture of core banking and business systems. • Familiarity with standard system maps of commercial banks and the ability to understand and contextualize various business and system discussions. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in designing shared service centers (SSC) or centralized operations. • Previous involvement in system implementation projects. • Project Management Office (PMO) experience in large-scale international projects. • Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English. Additional Information: • The role is full-time and can be fully remote, but presence in New York City is an option if preferred. • Work is aligned with Eastern Time (ET).
