Remote Float Mental Health Practitioner
Job Overview We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our dynamic team as a Float. This pivotal role entails providing essential support to individuals navigating mental health challenges through various programs.
Key Responsibilities
In this capacity, you will: Deliver an array of mental health services, such as comprehensive assessments, counseling, and effective case management. Assist individuals contending with varied challenges, including homelessness, substance abuse, and severe mental illness. Collaborate with a diverse multidisciplinary team comprising social workers, psychiatrists, and peer specialists. Acquire valuable experience across multiple settings while honing new skills. Contribute positively to the lives of individuals in need.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must: Hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Behavioral Sciences or a related discipline. Possess a minimum of 2,000 hours of supervised experience working with individuals experiencing mental illness and substance abuse challenges.
