Certified Tax Accountant - Remote

About the position Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. This position offers the opportunity to work 100% remotely, allowing you to collaborate with an exceptional team from the comfort of your home or office. As a Tax Expert, you will play a crucial role in helping customers navigate the complexities of taxation, providing them with the necessary support to complete their tax returns using Intuit TurboTax products. You will be responsible for delivering tax advice, full-service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries. Your work will contribute to advancing Intuit's goal of "Powering Prosperity Around the World." You will utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answers to customers in everyday language. This is a virtual, customer-facing role, where you will interact with customers through state-of-the-art video communication software and document interactions to maintain accurate records. Responsibilities • Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products. , • Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation. , • Perform tax calculations and manage product/software inquiries. , • Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customers. , • Document customer interactions to maintain accurate records. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software. , • Possess an active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney. , • Strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws. , • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). , • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools. Nice-to-haves • Willingness to obtain a dedicated hardwired internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria. , • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
