Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, you will lead all aspects of accounting operations while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency. This is a key role in a growing SaaS company, where you’ll tackle both day-to-day responsibilities and long-term strategic projects with a 360° view of financial operations.What you’ll be doing:Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), general ledger (GL), and revenue recognition processes.Lead monthly and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables such as Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.Manage consolidation and reporting for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting projects to support strategic decision-making, metrics development, and performance analytics.Play a key role in the company’s forecasting and budgeting processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to align financial planning with business goals.Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements, including sales tax, VAT, and income tax filings.Evaluate and refine accounting systems and processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency as the company grows.What we expect from you:3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience within a Software as a Service (SaaS) company.Comprehensive understanding of GAAP principles, with a strong focus on revenue recognition.Proven track record of independently handling AR/AP processes, bookkeeping, and month-end/year-end financial closings from start to finish.Experience and understanding of managing sales tax, VAT, and income tax reporting.Detail-oriented and organized, with a knack for solving complex financial puzzles.Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Stripe.A CPA certification is preferred but not required.Benefits:Flexible vacation policy and a fully remote work policy.100% Medical/Dental/Vision insurance covered for the employee / 60%-65% covered for dependents.Comprehensive 401K program.FSA and Commuter Benefits.Competitive Equity with a 4 year vesting schedule.Life / AD&D and Disability Coverage.Parental leave for birthing or non-birthing parents - specific to each state / 60% coverage under company secondary insurance for birthing parent. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply Job!
