Senior Associate, Cognizant Moment & Partner Communications

The Senior Associate, Cognizant Moment & Partner Communications will spearhead communication initiatives that enhance visibility and understanding around Cognizant Moment and the company’s strategic partnerships, technology and industry expertise. This role is crucial for supporting internal and external communications efforts to drive consistency, rigor and creativity related to Cognizant Moment and strategic partnerships. Key Responsibilities · Support Moment Communications: In collaboration with Cognizant’s Moment Communications lead, this individual will help structure and execute a communications strategy to share a regular cadence of news, wins and progress, and establish organizational culture and leadership brand. This includes creating engaging internal content, driving big-picture messaging and prioritizing the employee experience. · Support Partnership Communications: Working closely with Cognizant’s partner PR lead, this individual will help execute communications strategies that highlight Cognizant’s partnerships, technology and industry expertise and position the company as a leading global partner to our clients. This includes drafting press releases and other content, shaping messaging, contributing to media strategy and supporting the reporting process on partner PR efforts. · Stakeholder Engagement: This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including global communications, social, marketing, partnerships/alliances and as service line and commercial teams, as well as external partners. This individual will be responsible for upholding communications best practices, ensuring understanding and consistent implementation of partner PR guidelines as well as Cognizant approval processes. · Content Creation: Craft compelling content for various channels including Cognizant’s intranet, email, press releases, partner publications and digital content that aligns with Cognizant’s broader strategic communication goals. · Performance Metrics: Support the Cognizant Moment communication lead and partner PR lead with development and monitoring of key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of Cognizant Moment and partnership communications strategies and make data-driven decisions for future initiatives. Skills and Experience · Minimum 1 year of experience in corporate communications, with a focus on content creation and stakeholder management. · Strong organizational and project management skills. · Exceptional writing and editing Skills: Strong ability to produce clear and compelling communications for a variety of audiences. · Responsive and Proactive: ability to respond swiftly to communication needs and proactively manage various projects in a dynamic environment. · Creativity: demonstrated ability to apply creative thinking to communications challenges. · Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until February 1, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
