Join our Commodity Markets and Finance Division as a Governance and Controls Analyst in our Deal & Logistics Management team based in Houston. Commodity Markets and Finance provides a full spectrum offering to clients with exposure to commodities, providing risk management, financing, physical execution and logistics across the full spectrum of clients and regions. As a member of the Governance & Controls team, you will collaborate with global colleagues and central service groups to monitor and analyze risks in commodity finance transactions within a diverse portfolio of energy, agriculture, and resources loans. Your responsibilities include performing assurance reviews on operating controls, verifying borrowing base valuations using independent third-party information, and authoring monthly validation reports. You will also develop validation processes for new credit transactions, schedule collateral and borrowing base audits, maintain detailed tracking for client portfolios, and systemize the tracking and reporting of financing facility covenants. What you offer • Major in engineering, computer science, data science, or other quantitative disciplines • 0-2 years of Commercial or Corporate banking experience with understanding of banking, finance/accounting, and risk-related issues • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task, is organized, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines • Data mining, coding/ programming skills and analysis skills and experience, financial audit experience, a plus • Ability to work as part of a team and engage with a wide variety of stakeholders.
