Content Moderation Specialist (Reddit Experience Preferred)
Overview
We are seeking experienced Content Moderation Specialists with a background in Reddit moderation either as paid contractors, Hive team members, or subreddit moderators. Youll help us build and manage safe, engaging, and high-integrity online communities across platforms. If you have worked directly with Reddit or through third-party vendors such as Hive, or have held trusted moderation roles in large subreddits, we want to hear from you. Duties Monitor and review user-generated content for policy violations Apply platform-specific and community guidelines to ensure a positive user experience Flag, escalate, or remove content that violates standards Contribute to building scalable moderation workflows Collaborate with other moderators, safety teams, and community managers Experience Experience in Reddit content moderation (either in-house, via Hive, or as a high-level subreddit mod) Strong understanding of Reddit community guidelines and moderation tools Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and emotional resilience Ability to work independently and under time-sensitive conditions Experience using content moderation dashboards or AI-assisted tools is a plus Job Type: Full-time Experience: Reddit: 1 year (Required) Work Location: Remote Apply Job!
