Staff Accountant
Industry Financial Services Employment Type Full-time Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant at Faro Companies in Laredo, TX. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team. Responsibilities Work closely with the department leads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity Assist in preparation and distribution of financial statements Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule Check preparation and bank reconciliation Qualifications Financial Analysis, Accounting, and Bookkeeping skills Experience with financial reporting Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance 0 - 2 years' experience in accounting Proficient in Microsoft Excel Bilingual Benefits Semi Annual bonus opportunity 401(k) up to 4% match Medical Insurance Life Insurance Supplemental cancer policy PTO Apply Job!
