Spanish Bilingual Transitional Kindergarten Teacher (TK) 2025-2026

The impact you will have: As an instructional leader you will support our transitional kindergarten students in becoming bilingual and biliterate citizens and developing their academic, language, and social skills. What you need to be qualified? • Multiple Subject Credential with Spanish Bilingual Authorization • Completion of 24 units in ECE / child development be the end of your second year with San José Unified • To apply, you must have at least 6 units already completed OR have worked at least one year as a para educator / teacher assistant in a preschool classroom • Unit requirement can be waived if you have been a full-time preschool teacher for at least one year or part-time preschool teacher for at least two years What you bring: • Resume and letter of introduction outlining your desire and qualifications for this position • Two (2) letters of reference from prior supervisors • Transcripts of your undergraduate degree including any early childhood education / child development units, and graduate degrees if applicable.
