About the position Delta Defense, LLC is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team dedicated to driving impactful innovation. As a Software Engineer at Delta Defense, you will play a key role in the design, development, and deployment of innovative software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance software applications. Your responsibilities will include coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining software systems to ensure they meet quality and security standards. In the software development aspect of your role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet business needs and technical requirements. You will conduct code reviews, identify areas for optimization, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Analyzing complex technical problems and proposing innovative solutions that align with project goals and timelines will be a critical part of your job. You will also be responsible for testing and quality assurance, where you will develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality, performance, and reliability. Working in an agile environment, you will participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of features and updates. Additionally, you will support deployment processes and provide post-release support to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance in production environments. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related field or equivalent professional certification. , • 4 years of Full-Stack development experience of business or technical applications. , • Experience with client and server-side web development frameworks (React, Laravel, etc.). , • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token. , • Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tools. , • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical applications. , • Experience developing web-based applications using HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and CSS. , • Maintain high quality and accountability; Drive projects forward and remove obstacles for the team.
