Virtual Enrichments.org Teachers (flexible hours) for kids with Dyslexia, ADHD & Autism

Description of Position: • You must speak, read and write in English for this position. • You must be a United States citizen. • You must have HIGH SPEED INTERNET! • We are seeking Enrichments.org Teachers for 3rd - 12th grade students who have Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, Non-Traditional Learners, and possibly other learning challenges. You will use your experience, skills, and passion for Art, Music, Coding, Photography, Cooking, Podcasting, Blogging, Game Development ,or any other type of interesting non-academic area/class to share with students. • You will create the topics, activities, focus, goals of your classes. These classes should be in an area that you are passionate about and could teach "with your eyes closed" because it comes so easily to you. We do not give you a program or curriculum. This is left up to you. • There is no slate, class roster, groups of kids or other guaranteed to attend your classes. We will market your classes for you to our internal (enrolled students) and external (rest of the globe) students. We will put yours and all of our Enrichments.org classes on our websites, social media, etc. however, students enrolling in your classes is not guaranteed. You will need to share and reach out to the families and kids you know so you can start building a following and demand for your classes. • You can have anywhere between 1-20 students signup for one of your classes. The maximum and minimum number is left up to you. • You can schedule as many classes as you are able/wanting to and that kids have interest in. • Each of your classes will run for 50 minutes beginning on the hour. You can have a class meet 1-5 times per week. All classes run for 1 month at a time. • You will set the cost/tuition for your month's long class(es). • If your students need materials/supplies, you will need to assemble an amazon list with links for parents to order prior to your class(es) beginning that will be included in the description of your classes. • Both non-enrolled (entire world) Academy kids and currently enrolled Academy kids can take your classes. Academy students can take your classes during school or after school. If they take your class after school, they are given a 25% discount for any class they take. If they are taking one of your classes during the school day, a separate agreement will be negotiated with you to teach the class. • Please only apply if you can teach an Enrichment class in an exciting, motivating, hands-on, and interactive way. You have all the latitude to do what you feel is best for your students ALL THE TIME. Education and Experience Requirements: • Minimum of bachelor's degree. • At least 3 years of teaching experience required. • At least 3 years of Virtual Teaching experience. Payment and Related: You will be paid - • 85% of your total month's tuition for all of your classes and students taught. • You will be paid as a 1099 independent contractor on the 1 business day of each month for your work for the previous month. • Both non-enrolled (entire world) Academy kids and currently enrolled Academy kids can take your classes. Academy students can take your classes during school or after school. If they take your class after school, they are given a 25% discount for any class they take. If they are taking one of your classes during the school day, a separate agreement will be negotiated with you to teach the class. • Should you miss or cancel a class, you will be deducted a prorated amount from your month's total. If you miss or cancel 2 classes within a month's time, you will be released from your position. • There are no benefits with this position. Additional Expectations of Position: • You set your own class times but these obviously have to fit with a kid's ability to attend. • This position and your class(es) will begin 1 month after you attend a 60 minute Onboarding session. We only do things that are in the best interest of kids and need dependable, organized and passionate teachers to apply. Our teachers love kids and understand that many of our kids have been defeated, dislike school and have low self-esteem. They require unwavering patience, need to be loved on, built up, and experience success. All of our kids have a GREATNESS and it's our responsibility to help them understand what theirs is.
