Top level CTO/Lead Programmer Needed- Partnership Opportunity
Description: Our fast-growing Edtech company provides K12 schools with systems that better track and improve student attendance, we love our work because we truly believe we are making a difference in the many communities we serve. Our company strives for constant improvement in our products and our performance. We utilize desktop software and mobile apps that connect to a centralized SAAS backend SQL server database. This database shares data with over 400 client systems through SFTP imports/exports and direct API’s. Duties: Our day starts at 6am EST. We have many east coast clients and we process hundreds of thousands of transactions in only a few hours. Unfortunately west coast candidates are probably not a great fit here. We are currently using an offshore development company fr most development and support. You will supervise this team with the expectation that we will hire our own replacements within 3 months. The software needs a total rewrite, you will supervise this effort while keeping the existing system operational We will also be looking for an investment partner that will guide us for the next 5 years with the goal of a merger or buyout. You are a technology rock star, a technical swiss army knife with full stack knowledge. Education Industry experience a plus. Powerschool, etc…. You are Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, and Scottie rolled into one. There is nothing you can’t figure out and a good day for you is when you have to do very little to keep the system humming along and performing for our clients. You will cross-train and groom your team. Putting in place development guidelines and product rollout strategies as well as performance monitors that alert the team of system anomalies. You will bring this company to the next level of its growth and be rewarded with a percentage of the recurring revenue after 2 years. HOURS: 40 hours, start time 6am EST, AFTER HOURS AS EMERGENCIES ARISE Skills required:
- Must be proficient with Microsoft SQL server, including creating tables and fields, creating SSIS packages, writing stored procedures, and writing optimized queries
- HTML (with HTML5 experience), CSS, jQuery/Bootstrap, and JSON
- Rabbit MQ and Mongo Database
- ASP.NET, C#, Typescript, Angular, Reacts, .Net Core 3/5/6
- Experience with GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket or other DVCS
- Experience with building and integrating REST APIs
- Experience with Building IOS and Android Apps
- Experience with KendoUI jQuery toolkit.
- Experience using MongoDB or other document database.
- Experience with event driven architectures
- Understanding of open source projects ServiceStack, Mass Transit
- Experience with Golang
- Experience writing WPF applications
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $130,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year Benefits:
