Job Description:We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Part-Time Caregiver to join our team. As a part-time caregiver, you'll provide personalized, non-medical support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This flexible position is ideal for those seeking meaningful work that fits their schedule. Responsibilities:
- Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with daily hygiene needs, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Companionship and Engagement: Offer social interaction through meaningful conversations, games, hobbies, and other engaging activities tailored to each client's interests.
- Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a clean, safe living environment for clients.
- Mobility Support: Assist clients with walking, transfers, and other mobility needs to reduce the risk of falls and injuries.
- Medication Reminders: Prompt clients to take their medications as directed, while adhering to company policies and guidelines.
- Transportation Assistance: Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed (based on client care plan).
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in caregiving preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who shows compassion and a commitment to care.
- Skills: Strong communication, patience, empathy, and reliability are essential.
- License/Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Background Check: Successful completion of background check and drug screening required.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, assist with client mobility, and perform physical tasks required for the role.
