Role Summary We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (Part Time) to join our growing team and help ensure we are providing those great experiences. Registered Veterinary Technician Responsibilties: Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring Proficient in dental prophylaxis Registered Veterinary Technician Qualifications: Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state. (SVP will pay for a transfer / additional state licensing for DC if applicable).
