We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in protecting confidential data, implementing security policies, and mitigating risks of data breaches. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain data loss prevention policies and protocols. Monitor and analyze DLP alerts to identify potential risks or incidents. Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure data protection measures are effective. Perform regular audits to detect and address vulnerabilities in data handling practices. Assist in the design and deployment of DLP tools and technologies across the organization. Train employees on best practices for data security and compliance. Stay updated on the latest DLP trends, tools, and regulatory requirements. Prepare reports and documentation on incidents, compliance status, and risk assessments. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience in data loss prevention or cybersecurity roles. Strong understanding of DLP tools such as Symantec DLP, Forcepoint, or McAfee DLP. Knowledge of data privacy regulations like GDPR, CCPA, or HIPAA. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision. Preferred Skills: Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+. Experience with cloud-based environments and their specific data protection challenges.
