Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer III at Google, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software solutions
• Writing development code for products or systems
• Participating in or leading design reviews with peers and colleagues
• Reviewing code produced by third-party developers and providing feedback
• Diagnosing product or system issues and debugging/tracking/resolving them
• Contributing to current documentation or educational content

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in computer science or a related technical field
• 2+ years of experience developing software in one or more programming languages
• 2+ years of experience in data systems or algorithms in an academic or industrial setting
• 2+ years of experience in developing large infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks
• A Master's or Ph.D. in computer science or a related technical field (preferred)
• Experience in operations, large system data analysis, instrumentation, and/or debugging
• Ability to code at the system level, analysis, and resolution, and software test engines
