Manager, UX Content Design (Remote)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and feedback on design work, interpersonal dynamics, and career growth to team members.
• Develop trusted relationships with product teams and gain a deep understanding of the product spaces you support.
• Attend product and UX meetings related to your areas of responsibility.
• Review design work and contribute to design discussions.
• Present design work, visions, and findings to leadership and coach team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of content designers to create simple and intuitive experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize initiatives and drive content recommendations.
• Build relationships with Engineering, Product, Design, Research, Marketing, and Data Science teams.
• Establish and communicate content best practices and oversee the creation of information architecture frameworks.
• Help define and evangelize the role of UX Content Design at Indeed.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in product user experience, with a focus on content strategy, content design, UX writing, or similar.
• 2+ years of managing local and remote teams.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead UX projects and drive measurable business impact.
• Bachelor's Degree.

• Competitive salary: $140,000 - $202,000 per year (dependent on location).
