East Carolina University's College of Engineering and Technology is seeking highly motivated and experienced professionals to join our Department of Construction Management as Teaching Instructors or Teaching Assistant Professors on a fixed-term basis. As a vital part of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and teach curriculum, mentor students, and contribute to the growth and success of our students and the department.

About the Role:

  • Teach and advise students in Construction Management programs
  • Develop and maintain curriculum in Construction Management
  • Mentor and advise students
  • Perform service functions and articulate with construction industry representatives
  • Contribute to the department's mission and goals

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • A combination of teaching and relevant industry professional experience at the project management level (preferably in the United States) of at least five years is preferred
  • Ability to teach undergraduate courses in BIM, Surveying, Contract, Equipment Management, Scheduling, Estimating, Cost Control, Mechanical, and Electrical Systems (MEP)
  • Ph.D. degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred for teaching graduate courses
